On Monday 8th Novemeber, Carrie Purcell joined a panel on Contraception and Control, as part of a BPAS Centre for Reproductive Research and Communication virtual event. Titled ‘Autonomy, trust & surveillance – the role of technology in reproductive healthcare’, the event marks fifty years since the Predictor home pregnancy test first became available in Britain, affording women the chance to find out for themselves whether they were pregnant without supervision from a doctor.

Carrie discussed findings from the Integrating Abortion study, one of the original studies which were subject to secondary analysis in SASS.
