Simon Barrett is a Research Assistant at the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit, University of Glasgow and worked on the SASS project in 2020. Simon recently submitted his PhD thesis on intergenerational transmission of parenting, which formed part of the THRIVE trial.
Simon has a background in Environmental and Public Health, and has worked on a variety of projects aimed at improving health and reducing inequalities. These include: an evaluation of a drug and alcohol recovery programme, an examination of social prescribing in deprived communities, and analysis of gender-based violence in schools.
